Speaker Bio: Fr. Anthony Wieck is a Jesuit priest of the Central & Southern province. He is the sixth of nine children, and was raised on a farm in Oregon. Fr. Anthony began religious life in 1994, spending his first five years of formation in Rome, Italy, studying at the Casa Balthasar, and then the Gregorian University. After completing three missions to various Jesuit high schools in the province, Fr. Anthony was sent to St. Louis as retreat master at the White House Retreat Center, on the bluffs of the Mississippi. One year later, Fr. Anthony began complementing the retreat experience with work at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, teaching the Trinity and Prayer courses. Now he offers spiritual direction for 23 men there and numerous others in the area. He also teaches a course on spiritual direction and another on Catholic anthropology.
