Charissa works as an Administrative Officer at the Executive Office of the Secretary-General at the United Nations in New York. She was born and raised in the Philippines by a devoted Catholic family. Her faith was strengthened when she went to a silent retreat in her 20s and God clearly spoke to her to fulfill her ‘Call to Family, Community and Participation’ for the glory of God. She’s an active member of the Women’s Cornerstone in New Jersey who have been sharing the same spirituality and faith with other women. Her family and friends have asked her a lot of times to pray for them, as she prays every single time there’s an opportunity, including the rosary, personal journaling, and church visit. Her favorite saint is St. Jude Thaddeus, “The Patron Saint of the Impossible.” Charissa looks forward to knowing each one’s faith journey through their personal stories.
