Father Brian is a priest of the Archdiocese of New York, currently the administrator of the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in lower Manhattan. Prior to his present assignment, Father Graebe spent four years in Rome where he obtained a doctorate in dogmatic theology, summa cum laude, from the Pontifical Gregorian University. Cardinal Dolan ordained Father Graebe to the priesthood in 2011. A native of Staten Island, Father Graebe grew up near the Jersey shore. He did his undergraduate studies at New York University (2002), and studied for the priesthood at St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, NY.
